Paso Ligero’s Heartbreaker is the first cria of our foundation herdsire, Meadowgate Peruvian Brando, who we have since retired. We are more and more thrilled with him as he grows. His fleece is knockout gorgeous. It simply shines in the sun with its luster, and his twisted locks are consistent throughout his very fine fleece. Heartbreaker’s conformation is also excellent, with his size and build showing the beginning marks of an excellent suri stud. His full Peruvian genetics bring power behind his looks, with his dam being an Accoyo Ace granddaughter and his sire a USA Camion grandson. Both parents are white but bring the color potential that shows through in his rich light fawn that darkens slightly on his head and feet.
Heartbreaker was too young to show at the shows we attended in the spring. At his first fall show in 2010, Heartbreaker won a blue, with Judge Tim Lavan complimenting his consistent, dense locks and solid conformation.
