Meadowgate Peruvian Brando

Brando has amazingly silky, lusterous fleece and would make a great addition to a fleece herd.

My Journey
I have always had a deep love of animals and the natural world. My fondest memories of childhood are of the hours and hours I would spend outdoors and the joy I received from each of my pets - and believe me, I was never without one... or two or three. Dogs have always been a part of my life. And there were the ever-present gerbils, hermit crabs, rabbits, cats, etc. I didn’t grow up on a farm, but my parents often thought I was attempting to turn our home into one. I loved riding and being around horses, though I never had the privilege of owning one, and whenever I had the opportunity to meet a cow or goat or other farm animal up close, I'd take it.

Feature Articles

Mid-Atlantic Alpaca Association

Paso Ligero is a proud member of MaPaca, and Kim is currently serving a two-year term as the secretary on the association's board of directors. MaPaca (http://www.mapaca.org) is a cooperative group of alpaca breeders in the Mid-Atlantic states of Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia.

Maryland Alpaca Breeders Association

Paso Ligero is a proud member of the Maryland Alpaca Breeders Association. While we are located in Pennsylvania, we are situated only about 20 miles from the Maryland border, so it makes sense to help serve the most customers. We also believe MABA runs a great organization aimed at benefiting its members. To learn more about MABA, visit their website at http://www.marylandalpacas.org.
