Paso Ligero’s Sequoia is simply a fine example of a suri, and was judged so by Jude Anderson at the 2008 MAPACA Jubilee, receiving a first place as a 7-month-old. At 13 months, Sequoia took first at the MABA Alpaca Celebration and Reserve Color Champion. Her fleece radiates luster with beautiful individualized locks and a very typey suri head. Though her dam and sire are both white, her grandsire’s (Meadowgate’s Eminance Grise) color genetics showed through with her rich medium fawn body and white face. To top off the package, Sequoia’s personality is as calm and sweet as they come. She’s a joy to show and handle and we’re eager to look at the best picks for her first breeding that will add to her style and quality while maintaining her personality in the cria she throws.
