Paso Ligero's Gandalf

Paso Ligero's Gandalf is a big, solid male who grows great staple length of fine fleece.  This 3/4 Peruvian boy is maturing young, and we are beginning to use him in our own breeding program at Paso Ligero.

Gandalf's blanket i white, but he has medium brown and true black markings aroun his head and feet, with a spot or two on his rump. WIth his blanket not getting any large markings, we chose not to try to show him, since he would show in the tough white class where color spots often are detrimental, even outside of the blanket. We do plan to show his fleece, since it has nice qualities, including fineness, density, staple length and more.

Gandalf's lineage includes lots of color possibilities as well, and his great grandfather is the impressive Hemingway on his sire's side. His sire is an apaloosa, and is 1/2 Peruvian, with his dam being medium brown with a black face and socks and full Peruvian.
