Anduin, whom we fondly call "Andy," is a very loveable little guy. He is the first one at the gate in the morning and evening making as much humming noise as he can at feeding time. And when the other boys are playing tough with each other, Andy seems to do his best to slip away or make himself inconspicuous to stay out of the fray.
We are selling Andy as a gelded fiber or pet male only. As sweet an animal as he is, with typically soft huacaya fleece, he is an "oops" genetically, having been born from the breeding of two suris. His fleece is still quite soft, and he is producing good staple length, but neither his fleece nor his conformation have the highest qualities we require of a breeding male. But as many hand-spinners have said, even an alpaca fleece that does not have the top quality in crimp and density is still soft and wonderful to make something from!
We would love to have Andy go to a great home where he can live with other gelded males and where someone can still use his wonderfully soft fiber and enjoy his personality!
