Herdsire

Meadowgate Peruvian Brando is a proud, calm and wonderful full Peruvian suri male who is settling his first females this fall.  Brando has gorgeous white locks with the classic greasy suri fleece feel, superb fineness and a great conformation that have combined to win him ribbons in the tough white classes. Brando’s dam, WWF Stella, a PPeruvian Inca granddaughter, is our herd’s true matriarch. She’s a sweet, calm alpaca with strong conformation who’s given us four healthy, beautiful cria that have reflected their sires’ excellent fleece characteristics. Brando was her first, out of sire USA Semejanzo, a USA Camion son. We’re starting Brando’s breeding career late as we spent our time building our farm to get our alpacas home from boarding rather than at herdsire showcases. And to date, all of our own suri females are either closely related to Brando or were already pregnant!  As he proves his (and our) long desire to be our first herdsire this fall, we expect great things to come as he passes on his fleece, conformation and wonderful nature.
